If you want to save a couple bucks I would suggest taking a look over the 4 items listed below. You might be suprised at how much money you can save.
Getting Coffee From A Coffee Shop
It's so easy to stop by your local Coffee shop on the way into work. There is something about somebody else making the coffee that makes it taste so good. Once you do the math you might just rethink your stop though. The average cup of coffee in the US is currently around $1.50. That is for a regular non flavored coffee, not your super complicated Starbucks Mocha frappa whatever you call it. The cost for one of these specialty drinks can reach around $5. Let's just assume you purchase a plain old $1.50 cup of coffee 5 days a week. This is going to set you back about $7.50 a week. Over the course of a year that can be up to $400 on coffee. And that is if you only buy one coffee a day. I know people who buy several cups of coffee a day. To save money think about brewing your own coffee at home before you set off for work. A convenient way to do this is to purchase a Keurig. I have a Keurig and I love it. I highly recommend buying a Keurig and refilling your own k-cups with your coffee of choice. Buying new k-cups for your Keurig can be a bit pricey and using the refillable k-cups will save you money while having the convenience of a coffee shop in your house.

Bottled Water
Stop paying for water! The markup on bottled water is ridiculous. Up to 40% of bottled water is taken from municpal water supplies. They are selling you filtered water from the municipal water supply at a substantial upcharge. For more info on bottled water , check out my post on the truth about bottled water. You can save tons of money by filtering your own tap water and investing in a BPA free water bottle and a water filter at home.

Phone (Landline)
You have a cellphone right? Then why do you need a landline? Other options exist for free phone calls like free skype to skype calls that also allow for video conferencing, Google Voice and icall that allow free calls inside the US or Canada.

Cable
If you are going to cancel your cable, and stop watching tv altogether, great! More power to you. However if you want to save money by canceling your cable and still watch your favorite shows you are going to need a couple things. First thing you will need is a high speed internet connection. Once you have your internet connection you can stream tv and movies using your computer or a streaming blue ray player like I do. I have netflix and stream tv shows and movies through my blue ray player to my tv. Another great option is to get a Roku player which gives you access to Netflix, HuluPlus, Amazon instant and several other streaming services. You really have tons of options and I recomend doing some more research on the subject.
